Since, February, 2018, I have spent more than 7 hours (on 8 different occasions) trying to get paid for a claim on a cell phone. We sent the required materials 5 separate times, but they kept asking for the same things again.

They said they approved the claim & the materials, and 20 minutes later, they asked for it all again, refusing to pay us for the claim. Their phone agent said we would receive the check within 7 to 10 business days. It never arrived.

We finally decided to forget the claim & get a refund for all 3 of our phones.

Their agents' attitudes were fine & professional, but their service is worse than non-existent. The problem is SquareTrade's business practices, not their agents, for whom we feel sorry.

We will never use SquareTrade again.

Preferred solution: Refund unused portion of coverage for all 3 phones.
