Bought a warranty on an office chair at Staples. Was informed that all I had to do was register my warranty, upload my receipt and Squaretrade would take care of the rest. Well that was a lie...

So when the time comes to file a claim on my chair that is falling apart they ask for a receipt, even though I was told I didn't need one. I tell them that I uploaded my receipt and my profile clearly shows that. Nope, that one doesn't count. So grabbed my credit card receipt and give them that. Guess what, they won't accept that one either. I am forced to go back to Staples and maybe they can get me a copy of the receipt.

Clearly, they just don't want to pay claims, they just want to take my money. Fool me once, shame on you...

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $120.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Square trade company are crooks and liars do not pay or replace, Would not honor my policy, Being lied to.
