I purchased a TV and a warranty from Squaretrade the same day, a little over one year later after filing all the paperwork and making a claim they refused to honor the warranty. They stated that because the warranty and the item were not purchased on the same website that it was not a valid warranty.

I called several times and spoke with call center personnel, their supervisor, and their supervisor's supervisor and I was denied each time.

These stipulations were never mentioned on the website I purchased the warranty on (Amazon.com) or on Squaretrades website either. I had previously purchased several warranties from them but I will never do so again.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

I didn't like: Misrepresent fraud.

I believe there is a class action suit dealing with this issue.
